Beach

The dog friendly sandy beach is 7 miles long from Brean Down to Burnham on Sea.

To get to the beach, go out the gate turn right and a short walk down the road to the junction with Weston-Super-Mare, where the Village Hall and bus stop are..  At this point you will notice a pathway to the left across the sand dunes and onto the beach.  There are several entrances to the beach in both directions, so you can go onto the beach walk to the left and do a circular back the road to our property.

You can also drive onto the beach.  To do this exit our property and turn right and the beach access for cars is further down, closer to Brean Down itself.

Please note this beach can be very dangerous, as we have a high tidal range.  When the tide is out the mud flats are very dangerous and YOU MUST NOT walk on them.  Both people and vehicles can get stuck in the mud, and the tide rises very rapidly.

In the event of an emergency please call 999.
